Byzantine anchor

Diving in Mononaftis , Crete

Ship anchor from Byzantine era, approximately 4 meters tall. It stands upright in front of two large reefs, at 30 meters depth, surrounded by various ancient amphorae.

An astonishing sea life from tiny nudibranch to big groupers, compose a unique underwater landscape.

Minimum Certification level: Advance Adventurer or equivalent (Advanced Open Water)
